I confess, I read your standpoint quite a bit. I'm a subscriber and fan, though I'm more of a lurker than a talker, ha. But the fact that other truly tragic deaths at sea happened around the same time ... but there were so many appallingly sobby takes on dead, rich idiots ... like they actually mattered and more than anyone else ... it's pissed me off royally. Many things piss me off, but he level of double standard for these two incidents is so blatant that I'm more gobsmacked than anything. Corporate backed media and other monetized voices weren't even pretending to care about the double standard. Corporate backed media wasn't even considering WHY one was a tragedy and the other was just the usual forget-about-it evening news blip. Your article hit the nail on the head for me as to why, essentially, nobody really cares about this Tragedy of Wealth. Your articles so often lay out brief dissertation on the hows and whys from your POV, and even if I didn't agree with you (can't think of a point where I didn't) I'd damn-sure be impressed by the article. I'm also humbled that you read my response, and replied. Thank you for that, too. PLEASE, never stop laying it out so well in your writing and keeping it 100 for us. This world always needs more of that and you're amazing at it :-)
