Neither? Yup, "neither" is good. In every sense of the sentence.
In all seriousness, they're both AWFUL. But for so many reasons, both large and small. At the end, I wouldn't even begin to know how to tally it. But then ... I wouldn't expect better of Shumer. She's a textbook White Feminist (versus Intersectional Feminist).
But Candace Owens? She's a sellout. Whatever she believes now that she's got all that Koch Bros. money, she once knew better. Then decided "better" didn't pay her bills as well.
One is awful because she's a selfish, myopic privilege-princess and the other's awful because a selfish, myopic privilege princess is what she aspired to be--by any means necessary. And despite her intelligence and potential.
Yeah. Neither, please. But I honestly think Owens does more actual damage. Who the hell listens to Amy Shumer about anything? She's not even funny in her ultra white woman-ness ... just annoying, bland, and grating. My money says within the next half-decade there's a Karen-video of her released, losing it on the waitstaff at a Sbarro's (she strikes me as someone who'd live in NYC yet still have shitty taste in pizza ... shitty enough to eat at a chain pizzeria by choice, no less).
But racists LOVE to listen to Candace Owens put "the blacks" in their place. She says the white supremacist, anti-Black -ish they don't have the guts to say in public. She gives them permission, and they can say that: "Well, Candace said it, and she's Black!"
