Sometimes, I think I'm the only one who remembers that EPIC takedown by Data (and it STUCK with me from the first airing, when I was maybe nine or ten). What made it great was that he being nothing more than factual. That's part of what made it such a smackdown of a reply. No one could accuse him of over-reacting. And, of course, any protestations would've made Pulaski look like a bigger jerk than she already did and had and would.

I wasn't initially a fan of her character. I'm still not but she got better as her tenure went on. And the gall of refusing someone their name that they have told you has always made me see red. Even before Star Trek. Calling someone what they ask to be called is the literal least sign of respect to show a new acquaintance. If someone can't do even that... .
