Perhaps. But I can’t not let my conscience be my guide. Hopefully, that’s true of most people.

That strike should’ve happened. I have never more firmly believed that (NEO-)LIBERALISM is the truest enemy of PROGRESSIVES. A far quieter and more deadly one than any Conservatism — or any weird-ass, Ayn Rand-style Libertarianism.

THOSE latter kook-ass kooks are visible from space and as easily debunked as: “But what about . . . the FDA? FEMA? USPS?” And you’d get half a mile away from their bullshit before they stopped glitching and stammering about how communities would band together to take care of each other and no big government, blah-blah-shit.

Liberals, on the other hand, are the wolves in sheeps’ clothing: Corporatist-capitalists who can pretend to have a social conscience AND THEN bring progressives over to the dark side by baby-step compromises.
